DE 501   Justin

This pattern was inspired by Julie Good-Kruger's "Just Me*" doll, but will also fit other 20" dolls which have a slim torso. This costume is reminiscent of the French Hand Sewn short outfits many of the young men wore at the turn of the century. It is a perfect companion for our DE 500 pattern which fits the "Love Me*" doll.

The shirt is fashioned in Imported Batiste, and features a scalloped cape collar which is embellished with traditional white-on-white embroidery. (Pattern is included for embroidery.) Sleeves are short, cuffed and trimmed with softly gathered french cotton lace. The front of the shirt has several rows of pintucking, and additional embroidery. Shorts are also white, have side openings and are attached with buttons to the shirt.

FABRIC REQUIREMENTS:

3/8 yd. Imported Cotton Batiste

1/4 yd. Cotton Pique for Shorts

1-1/2 yd. 3/4" wide cotton lace edging

6) 1/2" buttons for shorts
