DE 500   Loverly

This Doll Emporium Pattern was inspired by GoodKruger's "Love Me"*, but will also fit most other dolls 20" in height with a slender body. This dress is fashioned in Imported Batiste, and features a large square collar edged in Battenburg Lace Trim. Dress is full bodiced, with a sashed, drop waist, and full skirt. Sleeves are short, and full, trimmed with french cotton lace and tied with ribbon. In the tradition of many of the turn of the century French Hand Sewn dresses, ours also features embellishments of white on white embroidery, on the collar, and if desired around the skirt. Patterns are also included for a slip, panties, and a darling drawstring purse.

** Please Note: When shopping for your Battenburg trim, be creative. Asa rule, this trim is rather expensive, and narrow widths are somewhat harder to find. Consider buying a Battenburg trimmed napkin, placemat, etc. and removing the trim for use around the collar. The trim shown in our photo actually came from a battenburg trimmed doily.
