This pattern is designed to fit the 18" Kayla doll by Dianna Effner, and other similarly proportioned 18" dolls. Included are pattern and complete instructions to make a three-tiered dress with eyelet trims and contrasting peter pan collar and front placket. A vinyl rain slicker and rainhat, and a pair of rubber soled galoshes complete this adorable ensemble. Pantaloons also included.

Fabric Requirements - Dress & Panties

3/4 yd. cotton print

1/4 yd. cotton solid to coordinate with print

2- 1/2 yds. 3/4" wide flat eyelet trim

2 yds. 1" wide flat eyelet trim

Fabric Requirements - Rain Slicker, Hat & Galoshes

3/4 yd. cotton print fabric and

1- 1/2 yds. Heat & Bond Iron-On Flexible Vinyl*

3/4 yd. rip stop type fabric*

3/4 yd. 1/4" wide twill tape to co-ordinate with fabric

"'For best results, a vinyl looking fabric should be used. Rip stop fabric is generally available only in limited, solid colors. You may prefer to choose an appropriate cotton fabric, (print or solid) and apply the Iron-On Vinyl to the top of fabric for the proper effect. This method allows you much more versatility in the fabrics colors and prints you may use.
