These delightful costumes have been designed to fit Cricket, Skeeter, and Rainy, three fairy dolls by Donna Rubert. Dolls measure 19" in height, and have porcelain limbs on cloth body. They are modeled to be posed in a seated position, however this pattern is suitable for other dolls of the same size, regardless of pose.
Our Lavender Elf is costumed in a tunic made from ultrasuede, and featuring a leaf patterned design at the hemline. This is worn over a cotton shirt with full 3/4 length sleeves. The tunic is topped with a collar made of silk petals and leaves in coordinating colors, and belted with coordinating raffia. Elf s hat is made from ultrasuede, in a petal style, and has a wired brim. His shoes are made from ultrasuede, and he wears knee length pants from the same fabric which was used for the skirt.
Our Rose Petal Fairy is a delightful confection in pink, and sparkle. Her dress is made of pink lame, with sheer iridescent sleeves. Layers of sparkle edged iridescent pearls make up the skirt, which is supported by a gathered net underskirt. Bodice is accented with gathered net ruffles, tiny petals, and metallic braid trim. Her shoes are made in pink ultrasuede, and she wears full knicker length pants from pink lame. Her outfit is completed with a darling headpiece, featuring netting, petals, and metallic braid.

1/4 yd. ultrasuede for tunic, hat and shoes
1/2 yd. broadcloth for shirt, and pants
2-3 silk flowers of appropriate color, with petals measuring various lengths from 3/4" to 2" in length, various shapes (leaves may also be used)
1/2 yd. 1/8" elastic
1/4 yd. 1/4" elastic

1 yd. 12 gauge florist wire to shape hat
4-5 12" pieces of raffia for belt

2 bottles Scribbles dimensional fabric paint "Crystal" color
1 small bottle pink iridescent glitter
Disappearing fabric marker
