DE 445   Lori

This pattern has been designed to fit "Lori", a 22" original doll by Donna RuBert, who is part of a 3 doll set of 'Carolers'. See DE 444 for patterns for Dawn and Beth, the remaining dolls in this set. We choose to design both boy and girl outfits for the smallest of this grouping, as we found that this doll is cute as a boy as well, and two of them make a darling pair.

Our girl's outfit features a dress which has a taffeta foundation. The full sleeves and skirt are laid over with a sheer fabric which features an embroidered floral design. Sheer lace, or dotted swiss fabric would also be appropriate. Over the dress, "Lori" wears a coordinating velveteen vest. Bloomers are also included.

The coordinating boy's outfit features a white, long sleeved shirt, linen slacks, and a velveteen vest which coordinates the boy and girl outfits nicely. A dapper bow tie completes this outfit.
