This pattern contains two dresses designed especially for Nina, an original doll by artist Peggy Dey. Nina is 22" in height on a slim cloth body.
View A is a sweet dress made in a black cotton featuring a rose and teal design of carousel horses and brass rings. We chose the rose in this print as a coordinating solid which is used in a scalloped over collar, cuffs, and ruffle trimmed underskirt. The dress sleeves are very full, and gathered to cuffs at the elbows. The scalloped collar is laid over a undercollar which is edged with gathered lace. The skirt is very full, and ends in a scalloped hemline, from under which extends the lace trimmed ruffle of the underskirt.
View B is a sweet dress made from a strawberry print cotton fabric. Dress features a large white bertha collar with a darling strawberry applique, and edged with gathered eyelet trim. Neckline is also trimmed in eyelet. Sleeves are full and gathered to eyelet cuffs at the elbow. Skirt is midcalf length, full, and edged with gathered eyelet trim. Pantaloons for both views are included.
