This pattern contains two dresses for "Dallas" by Jan Garnett, and other similar 25" dolls.
The dress shown in view A is made from a floral polished cotton print with a dark back-ground. The dress has full cuffed sleeves, and three tiered skirt all of which are edged in bias edging which matches the background of the fabric. The peter pan collar is doubled, one layer in white the other in navy to match the bias trim used. (Navy or Black background fabric and bias trim are suggested when making this garment for the most dramatic effect.) The dress shown in
View B is a traditional "prairie dress" which features a ruffle trimmed bodice, stand up ruffled collar, front closure with either western decorative snaps or but-tons. The skirt is very full, and is accented with a ruffled peplum An full, eyelet trimmed petticoat peaks out from below the hemline. Ours was made in a deep teal calico print. Matching pantaloons are included for use with either dress.
