DE 425   Jade

This pattern contains a design fashioned especially for "Jade", an exquisite 32" doll by artist Gwen Ross. Jade has porcelain limbs on a slender cloth body. Jade is dressed in a lovely dropped waist white dress which is lavishly embellished with white cotton laces, and machine pintucking. Her collar is embroidered with her name. Design for hand embroidery is included. Collar is also accented with rose satin ribbon running thru lace beading, and edged with cotton lace. The three quarter length sleeves are full, and gathered to a lace trimmed cuff. Cotton laces and rows of pintucks run vertically down the sleeves, and the bodice is accented with pintucking. The skirt is very full, and features lace trims and pintucking. Also included in this pattern are a matching full slip, and pantaloons, both from batiste, and also trimmed with lace and pintucking. A wide brimmed straw hat is suggested to complete the outfit, and is lovely when embellished with silk cabbage roses, and puffs of tulle.
