DE 416   Enchanting Emily

These two dresses were designed especially for "Emily", a lovely 19" original doll by Dianna Effner.

View A is a high waisted dress fashioned in a pretty raspberry taffeta. Sleeves are short, and full, gathered to cuffs. Skirt is full, and ends in a lace edged ruffle. Dress is completed with a beautiful batiste collar, which is pointed, and embellished with Emily's initial, and a delicate floral design embroidered in complementary colors. Collar is edged with a wide, lace trimmed ruffle, which also features delicate pintucking. Pantaloons are from batiste.

View B is a prairie style dress/underskirt combination, featuring two coordinating fabrics. Dress has long full sleeves, lace trimmed ruffles over the shoulders, and a lovely lace collar. Skirt is full and features a ruffle trimmed pocket, and two rows of pin tucks. Bottom of skirt is edged in heavy lace trim. Under skirt is from a coordinating fabric, and ends in a full, lace trimmed ruffle designed to extend below edge of dress skirt. Matching pantaloons are made from dress fabric.
