DE 407   Wardrobe for Greta

This collection of dresses was especially designed to fit Greta, an 11 " original doll by artist Vera Sholz which features a cloth jointed body. With minor alterations (check cuff and waist measurements in particular) it may be used for other dolls of this style and size.

View A is a darling dress which features a soft pastel all over floral print, and coordinating stripe. A white eyelet trimmed scalloped collar is accented by bias piping. Sleeves are short, puffed, and gathered to a contrasting striped bias cuff. Two skirts are featured, a floral, scalloped-edged overskirt, topping a striped underskirt. Matching panties are fashioned from the striped fabric.

View B is a real c-ewe-tie!!! Two reverse pindot fabrics were used, (white dots on peach, and peach dots on white) to make this long sleeved dress. The circular collar is trimmed with gathered eyelet, and has three hand painted lambs grazing across it. The full gathered skirt is trimmed with gathered eyelet. (Dress is from peach fabric, collar and cuffs from white.) Matching panties are made from contrast fabric.

View C features an adorable ensemble of dress and pinafore. Dress is fashioned from a yellow cotton calico, and has lace trimmed neckline and short puffed sleeves, edged with lace. The pinafore is made in white broadcloth, edged with gathered lace all around, and tying under the arm with ribbons. A hand painted or embroidered chick and butterfly adorn the front of the pinafore, and matching panties are also included.
