DE 300   Sleeping Beauty Ballerina

Our beautiful Sleeping Beauty ballet costume features a pink waltz length gown, matching panties, tights and hair ornament. Dress bodice is made in "Sparkle" taffeta (a pretty lightweight taffeta with a beautiful sparkly sheen) and is trimmed with a center panel of ecru lace, bordered with a ribbon/rosette purchased trim. The very full elbow length sleeves and gathered overskirt are made in pink chiffon and the overskirt is accented with ribbon/rosette trim as is head ornament. The underskirt is made of six layers of fine tulle netting. Taffeta panties and pale pink tights complete this outfit. Wig and ballet slippers available from WEE-3

Fabric Requirements:

1/4d. pink "Sparkle" Taffeta

1 yd. pink chiffon 44" - 45" wide

1-1/2 yds. pink nylon tulle netting

1/2 yd. poly stretch for tights (swimsuit lining works well)

2" x 4" piece of lace for bodice trim

1 yd. 1/8" elastic

1 yd. Ribbon/Rosette trim (or suitable substitute)

6" piece 1/4" wide satin ribbon - pink
